about frieder blickle
Frieder Blickle has walked the streets of New York every year since 1979 with his camera.
Having grown up in a small village in southern Germany, he now loses himself in city life in
New York every day. In 1979, he planned to travel from New York to the West Coast in 7 weeks. He never left New York City. Why go so far, when life in New York changes so much from one block to the next?

This project is in black&white only.
